Route: Bamberg, Germany to Warsaw, Poland – 900 km (560 miles) Money: 1 Polish Zloty = $0.307 USD Gas: 5.81 Polish Zloty/liter of gas Lodging: The Hotel Twins 2 |
| It was warm and clear today! Being a Sunday, there are no trucks on the Autobahn. We made great time on the German Autobahn. The Polish Autostrata was excellent to Wroclaw. But from Wroclaw to Warszawa (Warsaw) it was 2-lane and construction. 35-65 mph with at least 50% single lane traffic. |
| I’m using the 95 gas.
|
| 8:15 PM — We arrive at the Hotel Twins 2. We ride in and park next to the beer garden. Martin goes in and orders a round of beers to be delivered out to the bikes. He has his priorities correct!
|
| Mosquitoes are eating me alive! Had to break out the insect repellant. |
| The Hotel Twins 2 is on the far side of Warszawa so tomorrows exit will be easy. |
| Russian/Germany/US Relationships
We had dinner out in the beer garden. Two Russians were drinking/eating in the beer garden. Martin joins their conversation. I join after a quick check on the internet. |
|
|
| Dimitri and Sergio were on a car tip from Korkino City, Russia (on the Kapistan border) to Munich and were returning. Soon vodka with beer chasers were introduced. Then another bottle of vodka appeared. More food appeared and we are friends with Russians! |

| Weather could not be better!! |

No problems entering the different countries? Stay safe.
Hotel twins …. and what… no photos?
:)
What would Reno John say?
Just kidding.
LOL!
That had to be awesome on the Autobahn !
Yes Boys the polish roads can be treacherously populated and under steady construction
but one of my fondest memories are the courtesy of the Truckers toward Bikers.
That made it livable.
Seriously Dean, if all your photos are going to include lovely desert and delicious beers….that is just being cruel
Tallinn is a pretty town if you get to visit before “having” to enter Russia.
Enjoy!!
