The End is the Beginning

PHOTOS: If you want to see the photo’s full-size, click the photo, it isolates to a new page and click it once again.  Use browser’s “back” to return to blog.
CURRENT LOCATION: Upper right corner is my SPOT Satellite trackprovided by SPOTwalla.  When activated, it provides a real time track of my travels.  The tracks are archived back to my arrival in Heidelberg, April 25.

Use the zoom slider on the left to open up the map to see our entire route.  The “History” allows you to see day-by-day routes.  “Satellite” replaces the map illustration with satellite photos.

AAAack!  Sorry, my SPOT satellite tracking unit did not finish recording June 13’s ride from the Black Forest to Bamberg.  I failed to correctly set the unit to “Track”.
We are in Bamberg, Germany.  Arrived June 13 straight in from the Black Forest.  We are in decompression mode … coming down from an amazing 5-weeks of moto adventures.

It’s going to be difficult becoming normal again.  I was originally planning to ride for another 3-4 weeks but other issues require me to be home.

This is the end of our 2013 European Motorcycle wonderings.  Robert leaves Sunday back to Virginia.  We spend Friday, June 14 washing clothes and working on our motos.  Robert strips off electrical GPS, heated gear harnesses of his rental HD.  I’m reorganizing, separating stuff for Express Mail shipping to SoCal.

Tomorrow I’ll ride 265 km to KnopfTours where I’ll prep my 2004 Suzuki VStromopasourus DL1000 for final bike storage and packing to get stuff home.

In my mind, I have plans already formulating for The All-Star Motorcycle Circus & Expedition 2014.

The End is just the Beginning!
