Lisa: So today was a good day. We took a small van and toured Torres Del Paine National Park.  The weather did not cooperate so most of the peaks were in the clouds.  We were joined by 3 other very friendly travelers and it was truly a beautiful tour.  Plus Dean got a chance to bust out his red poncho again so all was right with the world.

Darwin's rhea (Pterocnemia Darwinii), a small ostrich like bird of Patagonia.

We saw thousands of vicunas along the roads!

Lisa and the vicunas!

Hosteria Pehoe on Lago Pehoe. This place is breathtaking!

The Salto Grande Falls between Lago Nordenskjold and Lago Pehoe. I look like a dweeb but I'm warm and dry. Can't say anything about the other person who is cold and wet next to me.

Lisa inside the Cueva del Milodon just north of Puerto Natales.

All the 4-wheel roads we took today are easily accessible by moto.

Lisa crossing a cable bridge going out to the Lago Grey Glaciar Grey viewing.

Way behind us at the horizon is the Glaciar Grey (Grey Glacier).

Unfortunately, the day was raining and low overcast. Most of the peaks were in the clouds!

A glacier in its summer recession.

Late in the day, the lower peaks cleared up.

Our tour group: Esen (Turkey), Antoine & Tini (France), Lisa and Dean
