I for one am surely glad that you didn’t just waltz into port and drop the bikes off without so much as a grunt or groan. Remember the first flight you took? How easy it was? I warned you that shit would happen and shit it did. So – a little inconvenience with office opening times is just the ticket. A little aggravation here provides sufficient karma grease to keep things on track for the return home.

I would suggest that dean insure the hell out of his crate. And just maybe they will lose it on the way back and you can get a new strompawhoozits.

Interesting to me that Dean possibly has one of the few Vstroms on the planet which is worth less than the aux fuel tank mounted to it. I, for one, will be very interested to hear what caused the asthmatic performance you suffered for the entire southern half of South America.

And ditto what Brian (and others) said, have a safe journey home. It would be a shame to trip on the stairway to your airplane and break an ankle! Though I imagine you’re in more danger from the airline’s food than from your physical surroundings…

Thanks so much for letting us tag along and make snide comments about your adventures. I think my favorite was the big dinner down on the south tip of South America – That really defines what an adventure like this is all about.

You both have safe travels home, I cannot wait to hear all the stories first hand.

“VPigglet” – shame on you Dean. She sat on that wonder-machine covering your butt for how many miles. If I were that scooter, I’d have a visit with your VStrompasourus and tell it never to haul your butt another km.

OTOH, if I were you – I’d park VStrompasourus somewhere dark for the rest of it’s days. I gotta tell you, I admire you for hanging in there.

Congratulations to you both for an awesome ride and most memorable journey. Thanks for sharing it with us more “virtual types” – for now….
